Module A-190-3 is a four voice Midi-to-CV/Gate interface. For each voice a pitch control voltage (CV1, to control VCOs), a gate output (to control envelope generators) and two additional control voltages (CV2, CV3) are available. The two additional CV outputs are probably controlled by velocity/volumen and a free assignable Midi controller.
The mode is selected by means of a rotary switch. These modes are planned (without obligation):
- four voice monophonic (i.e. to control four monophonic voices by four succeeding Midi channels)
- four voice polyphonic (i.e. to control four monophonic voices by one Midi channel)
In the polyphonic mode different assign algorithms are planned.
The learn button and the LED are used to select the Midi channel and the reference note for 0V CV.
The range of CV1 is 5 octaves (0...+5V). The voltage range of CV2 and CV3 is 0...+5V with 7 bit resolution. The gate voltage is 0/+5V.
Module A-190-3 is based on the OEM/DIY product MTV16. The 16 outputs of the MTV16 are buffered and connected to 16 jack sockets. Additional controls (momentary button, LED, rotary switch) have been added compared to the MTV16.
