C'est cool de pouvoir les acheter directement sur le site de korg, ca doit etre pour bientot, y'a une sacrée liste, dans tout les gouts (je crois que y'en a un peu plus que y'a quelques temps)

In the late 1970s, a unique synthesizer became part if the set-up of many pop, rock, metal and fusion formations, including Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, Rush, Styx, U2, Led Zeppelin, Yes, The Police, the Scorpions, and – not to forget – Genesis.

The device looked like the bass pedal taken from an electronic spinet organ which during these days was a most popular class of instruments. It was the commonly called Taurus I. The Taurus I was intended to be part of a larger synthesizer ensemble called “The Constellation” by Moog.

It was prominently used in prototype form on the Emerson, Lake & Palmer 1973 Brain Salad Surgery album. The 3-part Constellation was never actually marketed as such, however, the Taurus I was released as a self-contained unit, circa 1976. The Taurus I had three presets – Tuba, Bass, and the famous Taurus – along with one user-programmable variable sound. These sounds have become legendary.

KARO made the Taurus I sounds available to the KRONOS users by sampling the amazing device’s sounds. Setting out from these samples KARO developed 64 programs which do not only show the capability of the bass but also provide a polyphonic version of the Taurus I feeling. And now our KARO Pedal Bass (KPB) library is ready for you.

The Dark Side of the KRONOS!

The Granular Atmospheres sample library includes completely new however playable sounds never heard before in a similar quality on any other
synthesizer or Plugin.
Samples of the following instruments were used:
Mini Moog, Oscar, Wasp, Prophet-V, Prophet-VS, OB-MX,VL-1, PPG-Wave, Waveterm, DX-5, D-50, Emu E-4, Morpheus, TR-909 and the Roland CR-78.
The sample material was re-synthesized in a Silicon Graphics Indigo Dream Machine and converted into waveforms. These newly generated samples were then imported and edited in KRONOS.

Granular Atmospheres are perfect for movies and experimental music.
Of course we also included some sounds which can be used in all music styles, but there are obly a few as this collection is mostly concentrated on new sound material like morphing pads (analogue and digital), granular sweeps, pads & leads, industrial sounds, granular noises and percussion. Describing them is quite difficult, you have to hear or even better play them.

Et bein, c'est quand même beau tout ça! Un heureux acquéreur d'un Kronos n'a pas beaucoup d'excuses pour ne pas trouver le son qu'il souhaite!
Dans mon Korg Z1, il y a une nappe appelée KRONOS! Korg savait déjà j'en suis sûr............

Quand je vois ce genre de vidéo, tout respect dû bien entendu et sans prétentions aucunes, je me dis que S. KAY est vraiment un extra terrestre !!!!
